robI started circus aged 19, taught to juggle by my brother. I gradually picked up every single prop I could find, and now play with any toy given to me. I swiftly took up as many exciting things as i could find, training capoeira with Grupo Senzala, taking part in the amazing Beltane Festival, and playing trombone with the fantastic Orkestra Del Sol. From 2001-2006 I worked with te POOKa, a performing arts charity based in Edinburgh. With the help of te POOKa, I attended as many training courses as I could in order to hone my skills and eventually set up my own masterclass training company, Uberevents, offering worldwide tuition in high level manipulation techniques.

In 2006 I left te POOKa to form performance troupe JAM, and toured Europe for several months, performing at some of the largest street arts and circus events on the continent. Returning to the UK I joined Jonathan Kay and Attic Theatre to help set up and produce the first full time course in Fooling technique, which is now entering it's second year after a successful trial period. I also joined the team at PLAY festival as festival programmer, created several new shows with Firepoise in Northern Ireland, and resumed my early hobby of producing spinning videos for the general public. I have recently received sponsorship from the incredible concentrate (Australia) who provide me with their top-class props.

I now work freelance, offering my skills as a performer, producer and tutor. Based in Newcastle and working predominantly with Lets' Circus and the Five Ring Circus, I speak French and Italian, and have close links with companies across the breadth of the UK, Europe and beyond.
